New day has come!

Starting my Medical officer (MO) life today. I only drove back to ipoh this morning..hee,so lazy to go back yesterday. Reached ipoh at 9.05am.

The letter was still with the clerk. That was the first thing done this morning. A bit of palpitation when i met the timbalan pengarah..to get the placement in only-God-knows which department i'm going to.

Him: so,are you interested in surgical-based?
Me: yes
Him: you want me to put you in surgery?
Me: no..i want to do ophthalmology..
(i like general surgery but it's not gonna be my future life)
Him: o&g?they are short of MOs..if you are interested,i can send you there.
Me: no...err,actually i'm awaiting for transfer..
Him: ke mana?
Me:selangor...
Him: the transfer won't be immediately.so, you are just temporarily be in eye..they need permanent MO..
Me: but i'm going to sit for basic science ophthalmology exam this august..
Him: you want ENT or radiology?they really short of MOs..radiology is suitable for lady..oncall tak teruk..

I shook my head quickly. ENT is ok but i don't want.radiology is no-no..

Me: i'm not interested.i want to proceed with eye.

Alhamdulillah...i've got what i want. Will start my 1st day on monday..pray for the best!!this weekend is for reading and revision..
